Common faults troubleshooting methods of automobile electronic control engine when the automobile electronic control engine can work normally, but the self diagnosis system does output fault code, it needs to rely on the inspection judgment of the operator in particular. Determine the nature location of the fault. Now, the author summarizes the common faults of automobile electronic control engine as follows:

(1) Engine failure to start:

Turn on the ignition turn the ignition to the start position, the engine will start.  

(2) Possible causes of failure:

 A. The failure of the starting system will prevent the engine rotating rotating too slowly: ① the battery is insufficient, the electrode stack clamp is loose the electrode stack is seriously oxidized; ② the fuse of the main circuit is damaged; ③ the ignition switch is faulty; ④ the starter is faulty; ⑤ the starting line is disconnected the line is poorly connected.  

 B. Ignition system failure: ① the ignition coil is working normally, resulting in weak spark no high-pressure spark; ② ignition failure; ③ the ignition time is correct. C. fuel injection system failure: ① there is no fuel in the fuel tank; ② the fuel pump does work the pump oil pressure is too low; ③ the fuel pipe leaks deforms; ④ the relay is disconnected; ⑤ the fuel pressure regulator is working properly; ⑥ the fuel filter is too dirty.  

C. Intake system fault: ① idle speed control valve its control circuit fault; ② idle speed control valve air pipe rupture connector leakage; ③ air flow meter fault.

 D. ECU failure.  

(3) Diagnosis troubleshooting methods steps: ① when starting the starting device, the starter the engine can rotate. Check whether the starting system is faulty. First, check the storage condition of the battery the connection contact condition of the electrode; if the battery is normal, check the starting circuit, fuse ignition switch; ② step on the accelerator to the appropriate open position, then start the starter. If the engine can be started at this time, the fault is the idle control valve its circuit intake pipe leakage. If the accelerator is pressed to the middle open position, it still cannot start, check the next step; ③ visual inspection. Check whether the intake pipe leaks; check whether each hose its connection are in good condition; check whether the crankcase ventilation hose leaks breaks; ④ check the high-pressure spark. If the high voltage spark is abnormal, please check the high voltage wire, ignition coil, distributor electronic igniter; ⑤ check whether the ignition sequence is correct; ⑥ check the oil supply quantity of the oil supply system. In case of any damage in the fuel tank, check the fuel supply pressure in the fuel pipe; ⑦ check the ignition timing ignition sequence of each cylinder; ⑧ check the operation of the fuel pump switch installed on the air flow meter; ⑨ check the working condition of the spark plug of each cylinder; ⑩ check the ignition timing. If the ignition timing is correct, further check the control system of the ignition timing.
